Around the Traps: November

The day was hot and clear on the 8th of November with 15 shooters in attendance.
Four events were shot, including the ‘25 Pair Double Rise Championship’ won by Steve Walker (Hermidale) 48/50, who also took out the Overall High Gun with 115/125.
AA Grade winner- Max Betts, 114/125.
A Grade winner- David O’Brien, 104/125.
B Grade winner- Bruce Cottee, 99/125.
C Grade winner- Paul Hendry, 70/125.

Warren Gun Club would also like to thank and acknowledge shooters who travelled to the club, with shooters coming from Brewarrina, Hermidale, Narromine, Gilgandra and Lightning Ridge to compete on such a hot day.

Qube Shooters WGC 2014

The day before the shoot the Club hosted 11 associates of ‘Qube Logistics’ in their annual In-House Competition, which ties in with their support of the Warren Golf Club and the Cotton Cup, which was also held over the same weekend. A big thank you to the guys from Qube for their support and interest in the Club and the sport.

AGM & Club Improvements

The Club held its AGM on Saturday where Don Williamson was reinstated as Club President, Sid Kinsey as Vice President and Fiona Soulbsy as Secretary.  John Wild became Club Captain & Shoot Marshal, with Malcolm Stephens, Sid Kinsey and Paul Hendry as Trap Mechanics.
