On the 9^th of May the Warren Gun Club held its monthly shoot. In good shooting conditions a mix of experienced shooters, novices, juniors and try-hards shot for the honours on a five-event programme.

High Gun on the day was A Grade shooter Brett Williamson who accumulated 122 points.

The club welcomed Lachlan Hunt, a new junior who steps up to the traps as a third generation representative of the Hunt family to take up the sport.

Numbers were down slightly as the Cunnamulla Gun Club’s Two Day shoot- held on the same weekend- drew off some of Warren’s more regular shooters.

Of interest the Warren Gun Club was visited by Inspectors from the NSW Firearms Registry Authority in the week prior to the shoot and they were satisfied with the WGC’S legal conformance.

A Grade and Overall High Gun Brett Williamson,
B Grade Douglas Ferguson and
C Grade Mark Forgione.

The Warren Gun Clubs next shoot is at 1.00pm on Saturday the 13^th of June and all new shooters and visitors are most welcome.
